Good for breakfast and lunch with a nice array of meat pies. Pancakes and bacon were delicious. Be advised that adding mushrooms to any dish is $4-it is listed on the menu board but easy to overlook. $1 surcharge for decaf coffee.

Open early, huge variety of bfast options and snack takeaways, new items like a garlic-prawn curry pie for extra variety. Have been here a few times over the years, never a dud. Plenty of parking too.

Friendly staff & a good range of hot/cold food/drinks. Plenty of seating both inside & out. The mince & cheese pie I had was fresh with a good balance of cheese to mince, very much a top notch pie.

Hubby and I went in for pies yum yum yum steak and cheese and mince and cheese they are the best so good that we asked if we could take some back to Auckland with us ones that were cold and we can heat when we want them great idea palusami and cornbeef creamy Paua and a steak a mince cheese definitely recommend the pies

The coffee was excellent and the service was quick the food was great all though I feel the big breakfast should be just that a big breakfast however for the price it was ok and arrived quickly and tasted great price is reasonable but the atmosphere was a let down with children crying and music only played as we left good place to stop if your in a hurry the range of pastries looked great but can’t say if they were or not on the plus it was open on a Saturday and in Hawera there aren’t many open we might eat there again but only after trying the others on the strip so I have given it a four out of five stars
